Courier Eats Policy 1. Purpose This policy defines the standards and expectations for all food-delivery services completed under Courier Eats. It ensures consistent handling, safety, professional conduct, and reliable customer experience for restaurants, customers, and delivery partners. 2. Service Standards 2.1 Pickup Procedures Couriers must verify the order name and items before leaving the restaurant. Any missing or unclear items must be confirmed with restaurant staff. Hot and cold items must be stored separately to maintain temperature. 2.2 Delivery Expectations Deliveries should be completed promptly and following the most efficient route. Orders must be handed off directly to the customer unless contactless delivery is requested. If the customer is unreachable, couriers must follow escalation steps (call, text, wait 5 minutes, notify dispatch). 3. Food Safety Compliance Insulated bags must be used for all food deliveries. Couriers may not open sealed food containers. Smoking, vaping, or transporting strong-odor items during delivery is prohibited. Any sign of tampering must result in immediate escalation to dispatch. 4. Customer Interaction Couriers should maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times. Photo delivery confirmation is required for contactless orders. Any customer disputes (missing items, cold food, etc.) must be redirected to dispatch or restaurant support. 5. Delivery Environment Couriers must handle orders safely in all weather conditions. Orders must be protected from rain, snow, and excessive heat. Vehicles must be kept clean and odor-free. 6. Payment & Fees Delivery fees, driver payouts, and gratuities are issued according to the company’s standard schedule. Additional charges (long-distance, heavy items, waiting time) may apply depending on the job. 7. Cancellations & No-Shows If a restaurant cancels an order before pickup, the courier is released from the job. If assigned and already en route, partial compensation may apply. If a customer cannot be reached at delivery, the courier must follow no-show procedure before the order is deemed unclaimed. 8. Driver Conduct & Compliance Couriers must adhere to all local transportation and safety laws. No alcohol or substance use is permitted before or during work. Uniform or dress-code standards (if applicable) must be followed. Couriers must follow all company communication protocols. 9. Liability & Damages The company is not responsible
